EOU

Our electro-optical unit (EOU) series provides regular analog signals for high performance recording, monitoring and analyzing equipment. We manufacture a complete range of single channel, dual channel and DSP-based models.

Each of our EOU units is designed to drive its designated OPTIMIC fiber optic microphones at consistent, peak performance.

  • EOU 400 Dual Channel Industrial

    Dual channel EOU 400 supports monitoring up to two sensors simultaneously in industrial settings. It features two analog outputs; two pairs of ST-style fiber optic connectors; screw terminals for power input, test points and analog outputs; a green/red LED optical line condition indicator. This mountable unit has test points and trimmers to enable tuning for optimal sensor operation. Unit is powered by external DC power supply.

  • EOU 100 Single Channel

    Our single channel EOU 100 is extremely compact. It features a pair of ST-style fiber optic connectors; a 3.5 mm socket for analog output; green LED voltage indicator. Unit is powered by external DC power supply.

  • EOU 200 Single Channel

    Single channel EOU 200 has an enhanced electronics box. It features two analog outputs (one with volume control for headphones, another with fixed gain for monitor equipment); one pair of ST-style fiber optic connectors; two 3.5 mm sockets (one for analog output, another for headphones); green/red LED voltage indicator. DSP model provides up to 22 dB of real-time ambient noise removal (three levels: low, mid, high). Unit is powered either by internal battery or external DC power supply.

  • EOU 300 Dual Channel

    Dual channel EOU 300 supports monitoring with two sensors simultaneously. It features two pairs of ST-style fiber optic connectors; two 3.5 mm stereo sockets (one for stereo analog output, another for headphones); dual volume control knobs; green/red LED voltage indicator. Unit is powered either by internal batteries or external DC power supply.

  • EOU 250 Single Channel DSP

    Single channel EOU 250 is based on EOU 200, adding a digital signal processer (DSP) for up to 22 dB of real-time ambient noise removal (three levels: low, mid, high).

  • EOU 350 Dual Channel DSP

    Dual channel EOU 350 is based on EOU 300, adding a digital signal processer (DSP) for up to 22 dB of real-time ambient noise removal (three levels: low, mid, high).
